Despite being a fifth-round pick back in 2016, Tyreek Hill has proven to be one of the best players in the NFL across his seven seasons in the league. Having made the Pro Bowl all seven years while also being named to four All-Pro teams, Hill even has a Super Bowl ring. What does he have left to prove?
While he won his Lombardi Trophy alongside Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid with the Kansas City Chiefs, now Hill is looking to do the same with Tua Tagovailoa and Mike McDaniel.
But Hill, 29, also knows he can’t play in the NFL forever, and he’s already thinking about life after football.
Making an appearance on Sports Radio 810 WHB with former Chiefs teammates Anthony Sherman and Gehrig Dieter, Hill laid out his plans.
“I’m going for 10, man. I’m going to finish out this contract with the Dolphins, man, and then I’m going to call it quits. I want to go into the business side. I want to do so many things in my life, bro.”

In other words, Hill is under contract with Miami through 2026, so, based on his words, Cheetah plans to play four more seasons before walking away. This would have him retiring at the age of 32. Unless, he sticks to his number of ten seasons, then he’d be done after 2025, with one year left on his contract, at the age of 31.
After that, Hill says he’d like to coach, but “not for long.” Hill, who has five seasons with 1,000 or more receiving yards, should go down as one of the best receivers of his era and certainly the fastest.
