Lamar Jackson joins elite company in Baltimore Ravens’ Week 6 win

Kickers were a big part of the story during Sunday’s matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans in London at Tottenham Stadium. Justin Tucker and Nick Folk combined for 28 of the 40 total points scored. But Lamar Jackson had his fair share of fun too.

The Ravens QB completed 21-of-30 passes for 223 passing yards, with one touchdown and one interception in an efficient morning of play. But he also added 62 yards on 13 carries.

It’s a fairly typical day for the 2019 NFL MVP, but the performance helped place Jackson in elite company.

Michael Vick was the only QB to have 50 or more games with 50 or more rushing yards entering NFL games today. Vick accomplished the feat 54 times in his 13-year career.

But now Jackson becomes the only other QB on the list, accomplishing the feat in just his sixth season. Making the accomplishment even more impressive for Jackson is that he did so in his 76th career game, whereas Vick played 143 games in his career.

Jackson now has 327 rushing yards this season, putting him on pace for just under 1,000 rushing yards with 926 if he plays all 17 games. While Jackson joining Vick is noteworthy, it likely won’t be long before the Ravens QB surpasses the former Falcons and Eagles great.
