Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross finds himself in some major hot water following Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Clayton Holloway of NFL Media reports that the former Clemson star was arrested in Kansas and is facing a felony charge of criminal damage of more than $25,000.
The arrest reportedly came by the Johnson County Sheriff Department on Monday at around 2:54 local time with Ross being booked into jaul less than two hours later. There is no further information on the arrest and the Chiefs have yet to release a statement.
The 23-year-old wide receiver went undrafted out of Clemson back in 2022 and missed his entire rookie season due to offseason foot surgery.
Ross was considered a potential first-round pick early in his career with the Tigers before a congenital fusion condition in his neck and spine required surgery.
Justyn Ross has played in all seven games for the Chiefs this season, catching just three passes for 34 yards in the process. He has a court date set for Tuesday. At that point, we’ll have more information on what led to Ross’ arrest.
