The hottest name on the NHL trade block is officially off the market. Jakob Chychrun is no longer an Arizona Coyote and is officially a member of the Ottawa Senators.

The Senators’ communications Twitter account confirmed the news, detailing the full pieces of the trade.

In exchange for defenseman Jakob Chychrun, the Coyotes will receive a conditional first-round draft pick in 2023, a conditional second-round pick in 2024 (which the Sens originally got from the Washington Capitals) and a second-round pick in the 2026 draft.

Chychrun was the biggest name on the trade bait list, ending a saga that saw defenseman sit out for weeks awaiting a trade.

The 24-year old superstar defenseman is in his fourth season of a six-year deal worth $4.6 million annually. The last two years of the contract carry a modified no-trade clause with a 10-team trade list.
