We already know all of the drama surrounding Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his organization. Their relationship is seen as so toxic that the reigning NFL MVP could opt to sit out the 2021 season to avoid playing for the Packers again. Rodgers has also expressed interest in hosting “Jeopardy” and could give up his NFL career in pursuit of that avenue.

This whole situation continues to paint the Green Bay Packers in a horrible light. This is especially true given that general manager Brian Gutekunst refuses to commit to Rodgers beyond the 2021 season.

Set to become a free agent next March, star wide receiver Davante Adams seemingly chimed in on the situation via social media with a cryptic post on Monday.

Green Bay Packers’ Davante Adams has something cryptic to say

A second-round pick of the Green Bay Packers back in 2014, Adams has morphed into a star with Rodgers tossing him the rock. The four-time Pro Bowl receiver recorded 115 receptions for 1,374 yards and a league-leading 18 touchdowns a season ago. The Fresno State product also caught a resounding 77.2% of his targets.

“Gotta appreciate what u got while ya got it.”

A case could be made that Adams is talking about Rodgers’ questionable future with the Packers and the fact that he’s played his last down in Green Bay. In particular, the future first ballot Hall of Famer has helped Adams turn into one of the game’s best receivers — leading to what promises to be a huge payday next March.

The only question here is whether it will be with the Packers. Still only 28 years old, Adams will likely reset the market for receivers in the NFL. He’s also not immune from all of the talk we’ve heard surrounding Rodgers since the Green Bay Packers’ star seemingly requested a trade from the organization last week.
