Any matchup with the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles is hard enough, but the Indianapolis Colts will be very short-handed for the tilt.
Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star notes four Colts starters and two top backups will be sidelined for the Week 3 clash against Philly.
Colts will take on the Super Bowl champion Eagles on Sunday without the following:
Jack Doyle, Anthony Castonzo, Marlon Mack, Denico Autry, Quincy Wilson and Hassan Ridgeway.
Doyle will miss just his third game ever.

Tight end Jack Doyle ranks third on the team with nine receptions and 80 yards, while Anthony Castonzo is the left tackle. Marlon Mack is the first-choice running back, and Denico Autry is a starting defensive end.
For good measure, cornerback Quincy Wilson and defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway would be rotational pieces at their respective positions.
That’s a whole lot of injury-related issues at meaningful spots.
On the bright side for the Colts, head coach Frank Reich said receiver T.Y. Hilton is expected to play despite missing some practice due to a quad injury.
Still, good luck overcoming the absences on the road against the Eagles during the return of quarterback Carson Wentz. The odds are not in Indy’s favor.
