Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox is expected to be sidelined approximately three weeks with a broken hand, NFL Network reported Saturday.

Knox underwent surgery this week after sustaining a broken bone in his hand during Monday night’s game against the Tennessee Titans. Despite the injury, Knox threw a successful pass on a two-point conversion.

The Bills are on their bye in Week 7, thereby potentially limiting Knox’s expected playing-time absence to just two games.

Knox, 24, caught three passes for 25 yards in the 34-31 loss to the Titans. He has 21 receptions for 286 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in six games this season.

Overall, the third-year pro has 73 catches for 962 yards and 10 TDs. He was taken in the third round out of Ole Miss by the Bills in the 2019 NFL Draft.
