Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports seems to think that the all-time great shooter is getting impatient in the Pacific Northwest. For good reason. Despite his otherworldly play, the Blazers have failed in building a contending team around the future Hall of Famer. At 30-years-old, it might be time for the sharpshooting guard to force his way out of the Pacific Northwest. If so, pretty much the entire NBA would come calling for a six-time All-Star who is averaging 27.5 points and 6.9 assists since the start of the 2016-17 season. Below, we look at five ideal offseason Damian Lillard trade scenarios.” uploaddate=”2021-05-06″ thumbnailurl=”//cdn.brid.tv/live/partners/17660/thumb/777846_t_1620320766.png” contentUrl=”//cdn.brid.tv/live/partners/17660/sd/777846.mp4″]

The All-NBA First Team for the 2020-21 season was announced on Tuesday, headlined by Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. While the Greek Freak has other fish to fry in his second-round series against the Brooklyn Nets, this remains a great individual accomplishment for the two-time MVP.

This represents the third consecutive year that Giannis has earned All-NBA First Team honors. He was joined by some other star power on the exclusive team.

All-NBA First Team honors announced

An MVP finalist this past season, Stephen Curry earns first-team honors for the fourth time in his career. Curry is now eligible to sign a four-year, $215.4 million super-max extension during the summer. Eventual winner of that individual award, this represents the second time Nikola Jokic has been named to the first team.

It’s also the second consecutive time Luka Doncic has accomplished the feat after he put up a dominating regular season for an otherwise pedestrian Mavericks squad. This honor now enables the star guard to sign a max-level contract during the summer for north of $201 million. Not too shabby.

All-NBA Second Team honors

With his Phoenix Suns preparing for the Western Conference Finals, the 36-year-old Chris Paul continues to prove that Father Time has nothing on him. The future first ballot Hall of Famer has now been named to 10 All-NBA teams.

The interesting dynamic here is that LeBron James still earned second-team honors after missing 27 of a possible 72 games during the regular season. An argument could easily be made that either Jimmy Butler or Paul George deserved second-team honors more than King James. As it is, the four-time champion has now been named to a whopping 17 All-NBA teams throughout his brilliant career.

All-NBA Third Team

Most notably, only Kyrie Irving of the Nets earned honors on any of the All-NBA teams. That’s surprising given the statuses of Kevin Durant and James Harden in Brooklyn.

Reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert is now a four-time All-NBA performer. He’s been listed on the third team each of the past three seasons.

As for Bradley Beal, this is surprisingly the first time that he’s been on any of the three teams despite averaging north of 30 points during the 2019-20 campaign.
