Drama has now made its way to the two-time defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
Fresh off reports that Draymond Green and Kevin Durant got into a heated argument following Monday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Warriors have decided to sit Green for Tuesday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.

There’s nothing more concrete regarding this decision. Green returned from a two-game absence on Monday after suffering a sprained toe last week.
Given that this is a back-to-back and the game is against a bad Hawks squad, he might simply be getting the night off. But as noted above, the Warriors could be looking to make a point here.
Even then, there’s possibly more to the story. It was noted earlier in the day that one of Green’s barbs directed at Durant surrounded the two-time reigning NBA Finals MVP’s pending free agency.
Even after an 11-3 start to the season, things are seemingly boiling over for the NBA’s best team.
We’ll certainly have more on this story as it develops.
