The Tennessee Titans went through the ringer against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, losing in blowout fashion.
But the team’s day was filled with much more than a simple loss on the football field. Veteran defensive coordinator Dean Pees was rushed to the hospital during the game. At that point, there was no further information.
There’s now good news on this front. In his day-after press conference, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel indicated that all tests at the hospital came back negative and Pees should return to the team this week.

Any time a 69-year-old is rushed to the hospital, there has to be some concern. When it happens in the middle of a game, that’s magnified even further.
A veteran of the NFL sidelines for the past 15 years, Pees is in his first season as the Titans’ defensive coordinator. In the process, he’s led one of the best units in the entire NFL.
