Second-year running back James Conner filled in well for Le’Veon Bell in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season opener on Sunday.
The cancer survivor and third-round pick racked up 192 total yards and two touchdowns, including 135 yards on the ground.
Unfortunately for podcast host Nick Maraldo, Conner’s performance came at the cost of him losing a bet. The Pat McAfee Show personality tweeted out prior to the game that he would get a Conner-like haircut should the young back put up 100-plus yards and two scores on Sunday.
If he rushes for a hundo and two TDs I’ll be rocking this on Monday https://t.co/utECIgFoys

A man of his word, Maraldo did just that.

At which point, Conner responded in kind.

There’s nothing better than this in sports. A friendly wager between a media personality and a rising NFL star. Nothing really at stake outside of one bad haircut.
The good news for Nick? He can just put a hat on that sucker until it grows back. At least he didn’t tattoo himself up.
