Much like most of his Dallas Cowboys career, free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant continues to be full of drama.
It started late last month when Bryant got into a war of words with his former teammates. That was about as fun as all get out.
Still unsigned after being released by Dallas during the spring, the Cleveland Browns had expressed interest in Bryant’s services. That’s until Browns general manager John Dorsey noted on Thursday that Bryant wasn’t returning any of his calls (more on that here).
It now appears that Bryant has in fact decided to respond to the Browns. Though, it comes via his Twitter account.
No, really.
Starting my visits next week…I’m coming to the Land to see you Mr Dorsey
— Dez Bryant (@DezBryant) August 10, 2018
This is Bryant’s way of saying he’s going to sit down with the Browns next week. Of course, that’s dependent on Dorsey and Co. still having interest in his services.
As the preseason continues, Bryant might ultimately end up showing desperation. His tweet during the first full slate of exhibition action Thursday evening could be seen as a sign of this.
