The Legion of Boom era might be over in Seattle. According to a report, Earl Thomas isn’t reporting to camp without a new contract.
In fact, Newy Scruggs of NBC Sports Radio noted that Thomas “is done with Seattle” and even plans to sell his house there.
I'm told Earl Thomas will not report to the @Seahawks. He is done with Seattle. Plans to sell his house in Seattle. He will ONLY report if he gets a new deal. I'm talking about now on @NBCSportsRadio. #Cowboys @NBCDFWSports

Thomas has made his desire for a new contract known, saying that he wants a trade without one. The Dallas Cowboys make sense as a possible destination. Thomas is from Texas and been fairly vocal about a desire to play for his childhood team.
But recent reports have also noted that the two teams haven’t talked about Thomas since April.
We can easily see why Dallas, and plenty of other teams would be interested in Thomas. Thomas made the Pro Bowl in 2017 and was named Second-Team All-Pro. So, he clearly came back strong from a season-ending injury in 2016.
Should Thomas leave, he would be the third member of Seattle’s famed Legion of Boom secondary to depart this offseason. Richard Sherman was released and signed with the San Francisco 49ers, while Kam Chancellor retired.
