On Thursday night, Johnny Manziel showed up big as The Spring League kicked off its second week of action. The former NFL quarterback made two huge plays for his team, completing a 50-yard bomb to Antwan Goodley before capping off his first drive of the game with a rushing score.
Showing off the scrambling style that made him famous at Texas A&M, Manziel rolled to his right on the 50-yard completion and delivered a strike.

Manziel has designs on getting back into the NFL. If he continues to impress on the field for The Spring League and stays out of trouble off it, he might just get his wish. If not, football fans in Canada will have a chance to watch him continue his comeback bid in the CFL.
