After trading Jay Ajayi this past season, the Miami Dolphins may very well be looking to add a running back early in the 2018 NFL Draft. As of right now, talented youngster Kenyan Drake and veteran Damien Williams would be sharing backfield duties.
Maybe it’s just due diligence on their part or something completely, but the Dolphins are now reportedly interested in signing free agent running back DeMarco Murray.
The Miami Dolphins have inquired about RB Demarco Murray, source said. Not sure if visit lined up but there appears to be interest.

Murray, 30, is coming off the worst performance of his career. He recorded just 659 rushing yards and averaged 3.6 yards per attempt for the Titans in 2017. Almost immediately as the offseason started, Tennessee decided to release Murray.
Despite his somewhat advanced age, Murray is one year removed from putting up 1,664 total yards for Tennessee. Thus far, the Seattle Seahawks are among the teams that have shown interest in the former NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
