It is still early in the offseason, but it is worth pointing out there is currently a lack of communication between the Jacksonville Jaguars and impending free agent, wide receiver Allen Robinson.
According to Jaguars beat writer, Mike Kaye, the two parties have not discussed a contract extension for Robinson since training camp last year.
During my conversation with #Jaguars WR Allen Robinson, we discussed his impending free agency. He told me the two sides haven't had contract negotiations since last year's training camp.
Keep in mind, it's still early in the offseason and those negotiations still could happen.

Robinson is one of this year’s better free agent options in a somewhat thin pool of receivers. There is the possibility the Jaguars will place a franchise tag on him, however. This is their star receiver who scored a league-high 14 touchdowns along with recording 1,400 yards in 2015.
If for some reason the Jaguars do not make a move to secure Robinson, he will soon garner a lot of attention. Free agency opens on March 14. The San Francisco 49ers for one, are a team that has its radar on Robinson.
Either way things play out, a guy of Robinson’s talent won’t go jobless very long at all.
