Heisman-winning quarterback Baker Mayfield out of Oklahoma is one of the top prospects for the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft.
With that said, Mayfield is setting the record straight for anyone who might compare him to Johnny Manziel, according to Kimberly A. Martin of The Washington Post.
Baker Mayfield unfazed by the Johnny Manizel comparison: "If I paid too much attention to it, then I’d be focusing on the wrong things. I came down here to play the game and show them that I love playing it.” #SeniorBowl #Redskins

As we all know, Manziel was a huge disappointment for the Cleveland Browns, who drafted him 22nd overall in 2014. Partying was a big factor to Manziel’s NFL demise after he played in just 15 games for the Browns.
We can gather from Mayfield that he does not want any teams to worry about off-field activities getting in the way of his professional career. He’s also doing everything he can to impress a certain front office man looking for a quarterback.
Baker Mayfield on the Broncos requesting him on their team. "If John Elway asks you to be on your team, you don't say no."

The Broncos have the fifth pick in this year’s draft, and we recently covered how Mayfield would be an ideal fit for the team.
Either way things play out, Mayfield should fall off the board early in April. He’ll arrive to the 2018 draft after passing for 4,627 yards and 43 touchdowns in 2017 at Oklahoma.
