After court date, Johnny Manziel back to partying ways

Johnny Manziel

Johnny Manziel’s partying days are far from over, despite the fact he was indicted by a Dallas Grand Jury for misdemeanor assault charges, booked and instructed to stay away from his ex-girlfriend by court order.

Just three days after his court appearance in Dallas, Manziel was back in Los Angeles club hopping into the wee hours of the night. TMZ reports Manziel went to three different clubs on Friday night, “from Nice Guy, to Hyde, to Bootsy Bellows all within two hours.”

Thankfully for Manziel, he didn’t make any drunken declarations about rooming with anyone. In fact, he didn’t have much of anything to say at all, which is a good thing.

Likely, Manziel has been instructed to stop talking to the press, which has gotten him into hot water recently.

It’s quite clear he isn’t sweating his indictment, and his lawyer has made it clear they don’t believe ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley’s accusations will hold up in court (read more here).

Looking less and less like an NFL quarterback, more and more like a rich kid with a superiority complex, Manziel clearly doesn’t see the need to change his partying ways. He said as much recently, when he tweeted out a message of defiance regarding people being surprised at his behavior.

Yeah, it’s going to be a long, long time — if ever — before Manziel steps foot on a professional football field again.
