Vance Joseph has the funniest reason for starting Brock Osweiler again

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Brock Osweiler is so bad, the Houston Texans literally offered up draft picks just to get him and his massive contract off their books in 2017. Brock Osweiler is so bad he can’t even quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, who are currently paying him to play for the Denver Broncos.

Then on Sunday, Osweiler was so bad that Twitter had a collective laughing fit when he proved it once again in a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, rather than go back to Trevor Siemian — who’s been pretty bad himself lately — the Broncos are rolling with Osweiler once again in Week 10 against the New England Patriots. That’s sort of understandable, because Siemian did throw six picks in his last three games and took significant steps the wrong way this year in general.

But to hear Broncos head coach Vance Joseph tell the story, this is all about giving Osweiler the chance to prove he could be the guy for Denver.

I mean, there really are no words.

Talk amongst yourselves. I’m verklempt.
