Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer hasn’t been stellar this year, but he hasn’t gotten any help at all from Kenny Britt. Cleveland’s receivers have dropped seemingly countless passes, some of which have resulted in interceptions.
On Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, Kizer put the ball right in Britt’s hands with a pinpoint pass in the red zone. Not surprisingly, the receiver failed the rookie as the ball popped out of his hands and into the waiting arms of Clayton Fejedelem.

Britt has caught just six passes on 18 targets this year and has displayed some jaw-dropping effort, or lack thereof, on numerous occasions. And this coming from a guy who raked in a very lucrative contract in free agency this offseason after finally coming through with a big year last season with the Los Angeles Rams.
Needless to say, Browns fans have had it.
Cut him now. At halftime, pack ur bags Britt. @KennyBritt_18

Man I believed in Kenny Britt before the season. Now, he’s literally a liability

With Britt on the field Cleveland offense has 10 players and the opposing defense has 12. Needs to leave now!!

Kenny Britt trying very hard to get cut. Good grief he's been terrible.

Hue should send 10 guys out for the next offensive possession just to make a point. Britt is trash.

@Browns Britt is way to inconsistent and needs to be gone from this team. On defense the 25 yard deep safety is a horrible idea.

Some are taking Britt’s failure with a bit more levity.

It certainly looks like Britt is content to have landed a big contract and is now resting on his laurels. The Browns should not hesitate to make a point and cut him after the embarrassing effort he’s given to open the season, in this scribe’s humble opinion.
