Mike Zimmer: Vikings concerned Dalvin Cook tore ACL

Is Dalvin Cook ready to lead the Vikings to a big divisional win?

The Minnesota Vikings are concerned that rookie running back Dalvin Cook tore his ACL on Sunday, head coach Mike Zimmer said after the game. Cook will have an MRI on Monday to determine the damage.

The injury looked bad when it happened. Cook’s knee just gave out on a non-contact move (watch), and he was in a high degree of pain, needing to be comforted on the sideline afterward.

Cook had 288 rushing yards in three games at 4.7 yards per carry entering Sunday’s game. Prior to his injury, he rushed for 66 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown, his second of the year.
