The Minnesota Vikings have finally decided to move on from kicker Blair Walsh, who’s been struggling this year and will be released after another rough game in Week 10.

Walsh has hit on 12-of-16 field goal attempts this year and has missed four extra point attempts — totally unacceptable for an NFL kicker. He also notoriously missed a chip-in during last year’s Wild Card loss to the Seattle Seahawks that cost the Vikings a win (watch here).
The Vikings brought in six kickers last week after he had an atrocious game against the Detroit Lions, costing the team a win because he missed an extra point in that one.
The team will reportedly bring in former Washington and New Orleans Saints kicker Kai Forbath as his replacement.

Minnesota is in a four-game tailspin after starting the season with a record of 5-0. Walsh’s downturn is just one of many things that have fallen apart for this franchise in 2016.
