Randy Moss toys with the idea of a return to the NFL

NFL analyst and future Hall of Famer Randy Moss mentioned prior to the start of the Tennessee Titans and St. Louis Rams game that he would be ready if an opportunity arose to return to the NFL.

Moss, who is 38 years old, has joked in the past about his desire to play with Peyton Manning and claimed that he still has 15 or 16 touchdowns left in him.

While a return at Moss’ age would be a stretch, he has been keeping in incredible shape by working out during the NFL offseason with Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, Terrelle Pryor and Josh Gordon.

With news breaking that the Patriots met and worked out veteran wide receiver and free agent Reggie Wayne, who is 36, thinking we could see Moss out there for another couple of seasons as a change of pace receiver doesn’t sound too ridiculous.

Perhaps the Green Bay Packers should reach out to Moss due to the severe loss they were just dealt with Jordy Nelson’s ACL tear. Maybe that is the reason Moss threw out his availability. Packers, were you listening?
