Zay Flowers recreates iconic Key & Peele sketch in Baltimore Ravens introduction

The Baltimore Ravens made quarterback Lamar Jackson one of the highest-paid NFL players ever then followed that up by drafting wide receiver Zay Flowers with their first-round pick. While Flowers is months away from making an impact on the field, he is already delighting fans with a new version of a memorable Key & Peele sketch.

Flowers, the 22nd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, arrived at the Ravens’ facility on Friday and was immediately greeted by many of the top people in the organization. The team’s social media account shared his special moment on social media and it immediately felt eerily familiar to a legendary sketch by comedians Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key.

Fans lit up on social media responding to the Ravens’ tweet, specifically mentioning the similarities to the Key & Peele sketch with quote tweets offering a side-by-side comparison. While Flowers might not have intended to create a viral moment, it instantly made him even more beloved by the Ravens’ fan base.

Only time will tell how successful Flowers’ NFL career will be, but he does have an opportunity in Baltimore to be a go-to target for Jackson and one of the most productive rookies in 2023. Plus, his new rookie contract and signing bonus would provide him with more than enough dollars to save the children.
