By now, we’ve all seen how much Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin is enjoying having the Stanley Cup. He’s found creative ways to celebrate with the famed trophy, (which you can see here, and here).
But he’s not the only one getting creative.
Word artist Daniel Duffy has found a way to commemorate Ovechkin’s first moments with the cup. Duffy has created a piece with the score and opponent of every Capitals game through the year.
It’s in the shape of Ovechkin hoisting the Stanley Cup for the first time.

That’s just fantastic attention to detail. It really is a work of art from Duffy.
