Shortly after Caitlin Clark poured in a game-high 41 points in the Iowa Hawkeyes’ 94-87 win over the LSU Tigers in their Elite Eight matchup, ticket prices for the women’s Final Four have reportedly doubled.

According to Tick Pick, prices to get into the one of the two Final Four games started at $348 just two days ago. Now? Prices have soared up to $692 per ticket, and it’s possible this is just the beginning.

Caitlin Clark has a profound impact on ticket prices wherever she goes

This is a common trend as Iowa has advanced to the next level of the women’s basketball tournament bracket. Before the tournament started, tickets to the Elite 8 game in Albany, where the Iowa-LSU matchup was held, started at just $26. Yet, before tip-off, tickets had already soared to $155.

If Paige Bueckers and UConn can clinch a spot to the Final Four, we could see prices increase even more. Either way, seeing them double in just a matter of days just shows how much interest there is in seeing a player as talented as Clark perform in person.

But this is just the Final Four. Imagine if she clinches a trip to the women’s basketball NCAA Tournament Championship? Expect ticket prices to be even higher.
