At least for a little while longer, NBA fans will be able to get excited about highlight-reel plays inside arenas this season.
Wednesday’s news around the Association has not been great. We’re now able to turn our attention to the games themselves.
That’s somewhat unfortunate for young Detroit Pistons guard Khyri Thomas. For some reason he attempted to step in the way of Philadelphia 76ers wing Mike Scott, who had an uncontested run at the rim in Philly Wednesday night.
This did not end well for Mr. Thomas.
I am not even sure what Thomas was thinking here. He likely never saw something of this ilk while playing college ball at Creighton.
The young fellow needs to learn how to get out of the way. No amount of self sacrifice is worth this trouble. Save yourself, my friend.
