Indiana Pacers star big man Myles Turner remains an important figure for the team as they look to stay above water with fellow star Victor Oladipo still sidelined.

Unfortunately, it appears that Turner might join his teammate on the sideline for some time. Turner was helped off the court early during Wednesday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a leg injury.

As you can tell, he was laboring on the way to the locker room. Reports from Brooklyn indicate that Turner suffered a sprained ankle.

Turner, 23, was the 11th overall pick back in 2015. He’s averaging 17.3 points and 8.3 rebounds through three games this season.

The former Texas standout averaged 13.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and an NBA-high 2.7 blocks last season.
