WATCH: Nationals go back-to-back to tie game off Clayton Kershaw

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Walker Buehler had himself a heck of a game in the team’s do-or-die outing against the Washington Nationals on Wednesday.

Buehler left Game 5 with a 3-1 lead after working 6.1 brilliant innings. He was replaced on the bump by Clayton Kershaw, who struck out the final batter of the inning.

Everything seemed to be going swimmingly for a Dodgers NLCS appearance. That’s when Anthony Rendon took Kershaw deep to pull Washington within 3-2 to lead off the eighth.

The very next pitch saw Juan Soto take Kershaw deep to tie the game.

This is absolutely insane. The narrative surrounding Kershaw’s struggles in October have now been taken to a whole new level. And it could cost Los Angeles a shot at repeating as NL champs.
