Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson scored a touchdown Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. After scoring, he dropped to his knees, said a prayer and based on his hands — five fingers and one fist — it was a prayer for Ryan Shazier, No. 50 on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The linebacker’s teammates are wearing special custom cleats to honor Shazier this Sunday night when they play against the Baltimore Ravens, too.
Johnson’s gesture is pretty awesome, and we imagine players from every team have the Steelers star in their hearts this week as they all put their own bodies on the line for the game they love.
Shazier is still recovering from spinal surgery following a hit last Monday night that caused his lower body to lose feeling. He’s reportedly improving, but by no means does anyone know what the extent of that will look like when it’s all said and done.
