Steelers players to honor Ryan Shazier Sunday with custom cleats

As Ryan Shazier continues to recover from spinal surgery following his season-ending back injury on Monday night, his Pittsburgh Steelers teammates have him heavy on their hearts.

The Steelers are preparing for a Sunday night game against AFC North rival Baltimore, and several players will honor Shazier with custom cleats.

These all look amazing. Featuring the hashtag #SHALIEVE, they send a clear message of hope that Shazier will have a full recovery.

No doubt, the Steelers would love nothing more than to win this upcoming rivalry game for Shazier. Though, he made it clear he wanted his teammates to focus on their next opponent, rather than himself, heading into Week 14.

“We send our thoughts and prayers for Ryan and his family, but we have a game,” Roethlisberger told Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “We know that’s what Ryan wants. In talking to Ryan, that’s what he wants. So we’re going to go out and prepare for the Baltimore Ravens like Ryan would want us to do and is asking us to do.”

We here at Sportsnaut continue to pray for Shazier and his family and hope he has a full recovery from his back injury.
