WATCH: Carson Wentz looking phenomenal during OTAs

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz

Carson Wentz has been making steady progress rehabbing his left knee since tearing his ACL last season. We’ve shared some very encouraging videos at various times during his rehabilitation, and it really seems like he’ll hit the target of being ready to start in Week 1.

Now, a new video has emerged from Philadelphia Eagles OTAs that shows that trend has continued throughout the offseason.

The best thing about that short clip is that Wentz looks very comfortable moving in all four directions from his throwing stance. It’s not like he’s out there cutting hard, but this is an extremely encouraging show of progress.

The Eagles have maintained for a while now that Wentz is on track to be ready for the season opener. It sure looks like that will be the case.
