Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis has been a man possessed in his first season with the team.
Not only is the MVP candidate doing it on the offensive end of the court, he’s been one of the best defensive players in the Association.
Going back to his trademark ability to dominate on offense, Davis threw down what is legitimately the dunk of the year against a helpless Utah Jazz team on Wednesday.
Joe Ingles and Dante Exum thought they had AD out on the perimeter. That was a foolish belief. Veteran Ed Davis figured he’d work well as the last line of defense. Rather, the dude was presented with a poster for the holidays.
Davis is doing things we have not seen from a big man in the recent history of the NBA. Teaming up with the Association’s best assist man, these Lakers are just absurd right now.
