If you have had the pleasure of watching Klay Thompson’s ridiculous 37-point third quarter performance in the Golden State Warriors victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday night, you know full well that it was one of the most amazing things seen on a NBA court in years.
One of the best aspects of Thompson’s record-setting performance was the reaction of Warriors players on the bench and on the court.
Following the game, multiple players from the best team in the NBA took to social media to express their amazement.

In case you didn’t notice, a majority of Warriors’ players were in awe following the performance. And while Defensive Player of the Year candidate Draymond Green didn’t take to social media, he had a funny line after Thompson’s ridiculous outing.

For his part, Klay seemed a bit humbled by all the attention…
Man…what a night. Gotta give credit to my teammates most unselfish group I ever played with. God is good!

Thompson shot 13-for-13 from the field, including 9-for-9 from beyond the three-point line in a third quarter performance that saw him put up the most points (37) in a single quarter in NBA history.
Here’s the shot chart…
And here’s a video of Klay’s third quarter performance.
While some may conclude that James Harden deserves to start in the upcoming All-Star game, there’s little doubt that a Klay Thompson-Stephen Curry backcourt would be much more exciting, especially with Steve Kerr coaching the squad at Madison Square Garden.
And based on the reaction of Warriors’ players, they tend to agree with this sentiment.
