Warriors guard Stephen Curry out at least three months following wrist surgery

The Golden State Warriors announced Stephen Curry will be out for three months at the least after undergoing wrist surgery on Friday morning.

The team announced that Curry is expected to make a full recovery and that an update on his status will be made available in three months time.

Curry went down hard on his wrist during an awkward fall Wednesday night as the Warriors took on the Phoenix Suns. It was immediately apparent that something was wrong with his wrist, and it didn’t take long for the Warriors to announce Curry had broken it.

Golden State was already dealing with a difficult season. Now things get very tricky, as Curry and fellow star Klay Thompson will be out for months as the team is already reeling.
