One day after suffering one of the most gruesome ankle injuries we’ve seen in a long time, Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert shared a health update on Twitter.
Thanking his fans for their kind words, he relayed that a Dr. Anderson had fixed his ankle, writing, “I’ll be back!”
At least my end zone celebration was fun! Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I’m all fixed, Dr. Anderson is the best. I’ll be back! pic.twitter.com/DVs7D2fapn

We sure hope so.
Eiefert has worked his tail off in recent years to overcome other injuries and was finally healthy, making big plays on the field for the Bengals.
After Sunday’s injury, he shared a bit about how hard he had worked to get back onto the field. He also showed a tremendous amount of heart in his refusal to wallow in self pity.

Before his injury on Sunday, he had already made an impact, catching four passes for 38 yards and a touchdown.
We wish him nothing but the best in his recovery.
