Twitter reacts to Brewers forcing Game 7

The Milwaukee Brewers came into Friday’s game with everything on the line. Sitting on the brink of elimination, Milwaukee once again found a way to keep its magical season alive and force a Game 7 in the NLCS.

Things started off poorly when David Freese drilled a lead-off home run to give the Los Angeles Dodgers an early 1-0 lead. Starting pitcher Wade Miley, who also started in Game 5, worked around the solo shot and kept it to a one-run deficit.

After a quiet stretch at the plate in recent games, Milwaukee’s hitters came alive in Game 6. It started immediately with a four-run inning in the bottom of the first to jump ahead of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles would never sniff the lead again as the Brewers continued to add on in a one-sided game on Friday night.

Once Milwaukee recorded the final out to finish up its big win and force a winner-take-all Game 7 on Saturday, Twitter erupted as the Brewers’ magical season continues.
