Despite a rather ugly scene at the end of their loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it was reported on Monday that no Seattle Seahawks players would face a suspension.
The general mood on Twitter, especially the Tweets not emanating from the Pacific Northwest, was not bright.
At the end of the day, it’s easy to understand people’s frustrations.
This isn’t the first time a Pete Carroll led Seahawks team has started a fight while its opponent was in victory formation. Additionally, while some fans in Jacksonville deserve blame as well, it seems out of bounds that a truly ugly incident involving the crowd won’t yield one suspension.
But very little in Roger Goodell’s NFL makes sense. So, we shouldn’t be surprised that this doesn’t either.
