The first day of the NBA Playoffs is off to an outstanding start and Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard just delivered the first must-see posterization that basketball fans won’t soon forget.
Los Angeles trailed 75-71 in the third quarter against the Dallas Mavericks and desperately needed a spark in Game 1. Fittingly, Leonard came through on a fast break.
Mavericks forward Maxi Kleber tried to be the hero in a 3-on-1, seeing the Clippers’ star head straight for the rim. When the 6-foot-10 forward tried to go up for a momentum-swinging block, Leonard threw it right down in Kleber’s face with the one-handed slam.
