Arch Manning, the No. 1 quarterback in the Class of 2023, is continuing to make the rounds of possible colleges and is visiting Alabama this weekend, according to multiple reports.
The grandson of Archie Manning, Arch is the son of the oldest Manning brother, Cooper. His uncles are Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli.
It is part of a busy June for Arch Manning, who already has made unofficial visits to Clemson, Texas and SMU. Georgia reportedly is up next weekend, and FOX 8 in New Orleans said he also recently visited LSU. The scholarship offers are coming in, with Notre Dame and Southern Cal among the suitors.
“You know, I told Arch all of these are shiny, red Ferraris,” Cooper Manning told WWL-TV in New Orleans this week. “They’re all going to look great. He’ll just learn his way through it here and then figure out what’s the best fit when it’s time. I don’t think he’s in a huge rush. I mean, he has two more years of high school.”
The younger Manning, who is 6-foot-4 and 208 pounds, plays at Isidore Newman in New Orleans. As a sophomore, he led the school to a 9-1 record and the Louisiana Division III state semifinals.
His family legacy is in the SEC. His grandfather and Uncle Eli played at Ole Miss, Uncle Peyton at Tennessee before beginning their NFL careers.
