Retired quarterback Tom Brady is now turning his attention to the business side of sports shortly after hanging up his cleats following one of the greatest careers in NFL history.
It was announced by Las Vegas Raiders and Las Vegas Aces owner Mark Davis that Brady has purchased a share of the WNBA team.
“Since I purchased the Aces, our goal has been to win on and off the court. Tom Brady is a win not only for the Aces, and the WNBA, but for women’s professional sports as a whole.”

For his part, the seven-time Super Bowl champion confirmed the purchase in the same press release.
“I have always been a huge fan of women’s sports, and I admire the work that the Aces’ players, staff, and the WNBA continue to do to grow the sport and empower future generations of athletes. To be able to contribute in any way to that mission as a member of the Aces organization is an incredible honor,” Brady said in a statement.
Interestingly, Brady’s decision to retire earlier this offseason came after he was linked to Mark Davis’ Las Vegas Raiders. It also came after he was close to signing with the Raiders back in 2020 before then-head coach Jon Gruden nixed the deal.
Tom Brady is said to boast a net worth of $200 million. It’s not yet known exactly what percentage of the Las Vegas Aces he purchased.
It was back in January of 2021 that Davis purchased the Aces. Under his leadership, they have turned into a major brand off the court. The Aces are also the defending WNBA champions.
