Four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver T.Y. Hilton practiced on a limited basis for the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, a notable improvement after several straight missed practices with a quadriceps injury that kept him out of last Sunday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

“I feel good,” Hilton told the Colts website before Thursday’s practice.

Hilton, 31, has appeared in just one game this season, a Week 6 victory over the Houston Texans in which he notched four receptions for 80 yards on 24 snaps. He missed the first five weeks of the season working his way back from neck surgery.

For his career, Hilton has recorded 612 receptions for 9,440 yards and 50 touchdowns. He is third on the team’s career receiving yards list, beyond only Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne.

The Colts, fresh off a 30-18 win in San Francisco, are getting good news from lots of directions right now. Right tackle Braden Smith (foot, thumb), cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) and defensive end Kemoko Turay (groin) all had full practices Thursday.

For Smith, it was his first full practice since Week 1.

The Colts (3-4) host the Tennessee Titans (5-2) in an AFC South showdown Sunday.
