Los Angeles Galaxy are reportedly among the teams to have shown an interest in signing experienced midfielder Casemiro, who will leave Manchester United in the summer.
Offers for Casemiro are expected to be in wide supply. Links to the high-spending Saudi Pro League come as no surprise and the same can be said for a return to his homeland in Brazil.
But the Daily Mail reports Major League Soccer is another feasible destination for the 33-year-old veteran.
Despite having a 12-month extension option in a deal which expires at the end of the season, Casemiro confirmed this week that he will leave Old Trafford in the summer.
In an Instagram post on Thursday that surprised many Man United fans, the Brazilian said he has made the decision to leave while he’s still at the top of the game and can be remembered fondly by fans.
As such, teams from around Europe and North America have begun making moves to snap up the defensive midfielder.

LA Galaxy have already expressed interest in Casemiro
Among the teams to have made their interest known are LA Galaxy, who are presently searching for midfield reinforcements.
This is in part, due to a devastating second knee injury for influential midfielder Riqui Puig. He has not played since October 2024 and is unlikely to appear on the pitch until 2027.
Furthermore, the chance to reinforce their squad on a free transfer is thought to appeal a lot to the Galaxy, as does the chance to sign a player of Casemiro’s acclaim and vast experience.
Casemiro is among the top earners in the Premier League, having inked a blockbuster contract following his departure from Real Madrid in 2022. But he will undoubtedly be open to a new challenge elsewhere and the MLS may very well appear to the Brazilian.
