LOOK: Sauce Gardner gifts Aaron Rodgers a flashy diamond necklace

Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner is quite familiar with the necklace department. Meanwhile, first-year New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers is still learning the ways from his younger teammates when it comes to flashy jewelry.

But the four-time NFL MVP need not worry. All-Pro cornerback and new teammate Sauce Gardner has the 39-year-old Jets QB covered on that front.

Already seen forming a strong bond, whether it’s hanging out together at Madison Square Garden or other public venues, this dynamic duo has maintained their strong friendship since. The latest evidence comes from the Jets’ social media page.

Here a short clip shows Gardner gifting Rodgers a custom-made diamond necklace. Gardner insists the chain is from both him and “Al the Jeweler,” who views Rodgers as his favorite QB, per Sauce.

As you can see, it’s a necklace that embraces Rodgers’ new jersey number as he makes the change from donning No. 12 to wearing No. 8 in the Big Apple. Of course, it’s dressed up in Jets green, decorated with a dizzying amount of diamonds.

We can’t imagine the cost of such an item, but based on the returns of Gardner’s first NFL season, our guess is the 22-year-old corner won’t have any issues footing the bill.

Now the question becomes when will Rodgers break out the piece in public? Naturally, he has to find a way to show off the new bling, right?
