Sashi Brown: Browns not divided, not likely to trade down from top pick

Sashi Brown is already one of the NFL's top general managers

The Cleveland Browns don’t appear interested in trading the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, and general manager Sashi Brown says there is no division about who to take.

This comment about the perception the Browns are divided stems from recent reports which indicated head coach Hue Jackson and the front office were at odds about taking a quarterback or Myles Garrett. Interestingly, one report had Jackson wanting a quarterback while another had Jackson on the Garrett side of the argument, showing we really can’t trust these rumors leading up to the draft.

The Browns would be, in this scribe’s estimation, fools to pass up Garrett for any of the quarterbacks in the 2017 NFL Draft class. Hopefully, for the sake of loyal Cleveland fans, they don’t overthink this one.
