Russell Wilson is already taking a bite out of the Big Apple.

The quarterback and his wife, the singer Ciara, seem to be acclimating well to their new home. Wilson signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants earlier in March, and he already looks to be at home.

The signal-caller announced the deal on X last week.

Wilson spent the day at the Giants’ facility and chatted with head coach Brian Daboll. He was joined by his wife, to whom he has been married since 2016. The 36-year-old even took some promotional shots to announce his arrival. “Beyond excited!” Ciara wrote on Instagram on Wednesday. “Go Big Blue!”

The couple then went to Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks, sitting courtside at the game. They were joined by fellow superstars Spike Lee, Chris Rock and Ed Sheeran. Wilson and Ciara have been known to frequent basketball games throughout the former’s career. The quarterback has spent time with the Seattle Seahawks (and is a part owner of Seattle’s MLS team), the Denver Broncos, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

New York Giants legend Eli Manning also shared a video offering Wilson some words of wisdom.
