We have no idea whether Andre Iguodala will move on from the defending champion Golden State Warriors. But he is most definitely testing the free agent market.
Iggy’s first meeting as free agency opened at midnight on Saturday was with the San Antonio Spurs. He also spoke with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Now comes this report from ESPN’s Marc Spears indicating that not only did Iguodala meet with the Houston Rockets, the meeting itself went well and he was offered a contract.

Having already acquired Chris Paul earlier this week, the Rockets are looking to team him and James Harden up with a top-end small forward. Remember, Houston was said to be in on Paul George before Indiana dealt him to the Oklahoma City at the start of free agency (more on that here).
For his part, Iguodala is coming off a stellar 2016-17 campaign that saw him average 7.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting at a 54 percent clip from the field.
The Warriors are optimistic in their ability to re-sign Iguodala after locking up Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston and David West earlier in free agency. But the team is worried about the luxury tax and what it would mean if Golden State had to get into a bidding war for the 33-year-old wing.
