Rob Gronkowski ‘feeling well’ and in good spirits

Rob Gronkowski

As it relates to the health of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, there’s some good news and some bad news. The good news is that he practiced on Saturday and is reportedly feeling well. The bad news is that despite that, he remains in the concussion protocol.

Gronk has been in the concussion protocol since getting knocked out of the AFC Championship Game late in the first half.

The general feeling since the injury has been that Gronkowski will be ready for the game. But in order for him to play in Super Bowl II against the Philadelphia Eagles, Gronkowski will need to clear the concussion protocol by Friday.

Gronk led the Patriots in receptions (69), receiving yards (1,084), and touchdown receptions (8) during the 2017 regular season.
