We’re just one week into the NBA season and two big-name players could soon be on the trade block.

According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Rockets center Clint Capela And Thunder big man Steven Adams are of interest for contending teams around the Association.

“There are a few big names out there who could come on the market, namely Steven Adams in Oklahoma City, though the Thunder have told teams they see Adams as part of their future for the time being. Another center executives are watching is Clint Capela,” the reported noted.

After losing Al Horford in free agency, the Boston Celtics are mentioned as potential suitors for both players. They were in on Capela back in July.

Oklahoma City is in a full-scale rebuild mode after trading Russell Westbrook and Paul George during the summer.

At 26 years old, Adams could be part of the team’s long-term plans. He could also net Oklahoma City draft assets and young players. Adams is averaging 6.0 points and 11.8 rebounds on the young season.

Capela is another big name. He signed a five-year, $90 million contract ahead of last season. He’s since been placed on the trade block after struggling through a down 2018-19 season.

The 25-year-old big man is averaging 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds through three games.
