Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry continues to make progress from a broken hand and the team now plans to update his status on Feb. 28 instead of March 1, per NBC Sports’ Monte Poole.

Curry went the mast month working through individual workouts as he recovers from the fractured hand he suffered on Oct. 30. On Tuesday, he joined his teammates on the practice court for the first time since the injury.

While Curry practiced in a red no-contact jersey, he increased his involvement in practice and continues to progress towards a return to the court.

Golden State currently sits at the bottom of the NBA standings with a 12-43 record. The Warriors will return to action on Thursday against the Houston Rockets and there are still four games remaining before an update on Curry’s status will be provided.

It seems increasingly likely that Curry will be able to return this season. However, head coach Steve Kerr isn’t entertaining the notion of fellow All-Star teammate Klay Thompson making it back before the season ends.
